Is it Easy to Make Money Online?

I would like to be able to tell you that it is easy to make money online, but to the contrary, making money online is not easy. Well, for some it may be, it all depends on what kind of experience you have.

Writing & Typing

If you have great writing and typing skills, then it will be easier for you than if you do not have those skills.

There are many free writing tutorials online that will teach you all you need to know about writing, then all you have to do is start writing. It really does not matter what type of market you get into, it is essential that you learn how to write, as you will have to write sales pages, blog posts, and other web content where the writing structures are important.

The only exception here is if you have money to hire others to do the writing for you, but if that is not in your budget, then you will have to learn to write effectively.

If you do not know how to type, you can also take free typing courses online, which will teach you exactly where to place your fingers, on what keys and so on. But if you already have these skills you will not have to invest your time to learn them, but can concentrate on making money.

Marketing

The same thing goes for marketing, if you have good marketing skills you will have a huge head start on those who do not. And again, everything which you need to know about marketing effectively can be found online. There are many courses which you can take, but for the most part, you can get all the knowledge you need to get started for free.

If you have money to spend then you can get others to create the content for you as well as do the marketing for you. But if you do not have the money, then you will have to create all your content yourself which can take a while. The content which you may need can be anything from articles and e-books to audio and video.

In conclusion, it is tough to start an online business, but it is not something that the ordinary individual cannot do. Anybody who has the ability to learn and has the patience can make a good fortune online. It just will take a lot of work, and it will not happen overnight.

Make Money Online With Freelancing

If you do not have time to set up an affiliate website and then wait until your traffic starts to pick up before you start to see some money, then freelance writing may be something that you should look into.

Not only will you begin to see immediate results, but the results could very well be what you need in order to survive financially. In the beginning you may not make as much, as you will still be learning the ropes, but then once you get the hang of it, you will begin to see some serious money.

So How Can You Make Money With Freelancing?

Very easy. Simply do a search for freelance writing jobs and you will come across many great website who are willing to hire new freelancers. Most of them will require you to write an article on a topic of your choice for them to review and decide whether you qualify as a freelance writer. If you qualify they will usually hire you within a few days or so.

A couple of the top freelance recruiters require that you pay a monthly membership fee for optimum exposure and the ability to bid on as many jobs as you like. But if that is not in your budget, then you may want to stick the other free resources.

But don't get me wrong, there are many legitimate writing jobs listed even on the free resource sites, so be sure to check them out first before heading over to the more popular sites. Most of these websites are updated daily as new jobs come in, so be sure to check back often and apply to as many jobs as you like.

How Much Money Can You Make?

The amount of money you can make solely depends on you. The more you write, the more you will make, but you will have to learn how to type fast. Most freelancers make anywhere between $10 to $20 an hour just by researching and writing articles.

At first you will not make this much, as you will have to spend a lot of your time researching, but once your knowledge base grows, you will be able to write from your previous notes or your memory. Once you can do this you will be able to pump out several articles per hour. So if you want to earn big money, then you need to bid on high paying articles, and you will be on your way to internet riches.

How To Do Affiliate Marketing

Affiliate marketing is where you promote other people's products in exchange for a cut in the revenue. This helps you to easily make money without having your own products to sell, and reduces the marketing costs for the company whose products you are promoting. The companies can actually save a lot of money this way, because they only have to pay when they actually make a sale.

A lot of people will tell you that this is one of the quickest ways to make money online, and it is, but it will take a lot of hard work on your behalf. First you need to put together a blog or website with some content, then you get to sign up for affiliate programs, and believe it or not, these first steps may not seem like a lot, but they are the most important ones.

You need to do a market research to make sure that you are in a hot market, but not too hot because you don't want too much competition. You also want to carefully consider what affiliate programs to join. You can join as many as you like, but the products which they have should all work together on your website.

If you decide to promote fishing products you could join different programs where one has books on how to fish, and others that sell the fishing poles and so on. But don't go promoting products like golf clubs or bicycles.
Once you have decided on what products you want to promote you should start adding them to your site. But here is where it gets tricky, many people will just put up the ads and hope that people will buy, this is great, but it will not get you the results which you are hoping for.

Your visitors need to have a reason to click on your ads and buy something, and you are the one to give them that reason. One of the best ways to get your users to spend money is by writing honest product reviews.

It is always great if you can stick in a personal story on how the product has worked for you, but it is not always necessary. All you have to do is convince your readers that they will somehow benefit from this product and they will buy.

Another thing which you can do, is just write general articles and then place relevant ads along the sidebar. One example would be to just write about what makes fishing enjoyable, and then provide links to books or fishing tools.

Then once you have some reviews you need to start driving traffic to your website, and your earnings will start to roll in.

How To Make Money Online

Making money online is one of the coolest ways to earn your money these days. You set your own hours, work as hard or as little as you want, and the absolute best thing about it is, that you do not have to go to work and put up with others.

So How Can You Make Money Online?

Well, there are many ways to make money online. You can set up your own website or blog, and make money with affiliate marketing. This requires you to do a lot of marketing, because in order to make money with affiliate programs you need to have lots of traffic coming to your website on a daily basis.

Or you can sell your own products on e-commerce sites like EBay, Etsy or Amazon.

The places where you can  sell your products are numerous and depending on what kind of products you have, you may choose a different site. For example, Etsy is only for you if you sell hand-made items, and ClickBank is suited only for E-books or other digital products.

You can write ebooks or other digital products and sell them for low prices. Why do I say low? Because once you have created your ebook you no longer will have any additional costs, other than perhaps marketing costs. But this will allow you to sell it at a super low price and still make some good money.

To get traffic coming to your products, whether they are affiliate products or your own, you can buy ads with ad networks, or you can learn how to drive free traffic.

There are many ways to drive free traffic to your site, and one of them is with article marketing. Simply write articles around the products which you are selling and then submit them to article directories. You can leave comments on other sites, do link exchanges or build a number of blogs around your main website.

Freelance writing is another great way to earn some fast money. Simply apply for freelance jobs and start writing about what you know. Most freelancers earn between 10 to 20 dollars an hour just by writing articles for others.

To apply for these writing jobs simply do a search for freelance jobs and you will come across many great sites where lots of webmasters are looking for writers.
So if you want to make money online and break free from your boss, then you can get started today using one of these strategies. It may seem like a lot of work to get started, but you will be glad you did in the end.

Making Money with eBay

eBay is one of the largest online stores. It’s fun and exciting, yet it takes a lot of hard work and dedication to grow your online business.

There are many options to choose from when selling on eBay. But basically there are two methods; you can list your items in the auction format, or you can open an eBay Store. Both are good, and both come with advantages and disadvantages, but when you use them together they can generate a lot of sales for you.

Some of the disadvantages of the auction format are that the listing only last for up to 3, 7 or 10 days and is more expensive to list. But the advantage is that you get a lot of traffic, because your items get listed in the main eBay directories and your items most likely will get sold.

The disadvantage of having a store is that you don’t get a lot of traffic to your store items; because your items do not get listed in the main eBay directories; leaving it up to you to generate traffic. But the good thing about the store is that you pay a monthly fee and after that it’s very cheap to list your items; making it perfect for when you have an inventory of a hundred items or so. Plus you can categorize your store making it easy for customers to find the items they are looking for.

If you are new to selling online, you should start with an item you have on hand and list it in the auction format. I don’t recommend opening an eBay Store until you have some positive feedback, repeat customers and an inventory to make it worthwhile.

After you open a store you should still continue to list in the auction format to help drive traffic to your store items. When listing in the auction format you simply remind your potential customers to check out your store for other items and offer them a discount on shipping when they buy more than one item.

Another thing to keep in mind is all the fees associated with eBay; first you pay a listing fee, then when your item sells you are charged a Final Value Fee. Pay Pal also charges you a small fee of 1.9% to 2.9% + $0.30 for every transaction. I would encourage you to familiarize yourself with the fees, to help you decide what to price your items at, so you don’t end up losing money.

In order to sell on eBay you need to have Pay Pal account in good standing. It’s free and easy to sign up and you can connect it directly to your credit card or bank account, making it easy to transfer money.

There’s a lot to learn about eBay, but these are the basics you need to know in order to get started. Just remember to make this a fun experiment, if your first item doesn’t sell, simply try another, and if you don’t give up, you will succeed over time.

Creating Multiple Streams Of Income

You have probably heard the old saying, "Never put all your eggs in one basket." I am sure that it was a good rule to follow in the good old days, but it is even more important for us to follow it today. The way that businesses come and go, we cannot be certain whether any of them will still be around tomorrow.

So we need to scatter our eggs, or build multiple sources of income, in case one fails, then we still have the other to fall back on. In the physical world this is a tough thing to do, but online, it really is not that hard to accomplish. It just takes a lot of hard work, time and persistence.

All you do is create one blog or website in one niche or market; then build a bunch of mini sites around it, and start writing articles for article directories to get some back links. This will start the flow of traffic, and then all you do is sign up with different affiliate companies and start promoting their products related to your website or blog. You can create as many websites or blogs as you like within one niche and promote as many products, programs or services as you like.

The hardest part is driving traffic to your website, but once you have established a significant amount of traffic with your mini sites, and articles, you will start making more money than what you ever imagined.

Then you simply keep repeating the above step in different niches or markets. The first time around will always be the toughest, but once you have the hang of it, you will be able to create a money making website in a very short period of time.

There are many markets which you can get into that you do not have to know much about, if you can write copy then you can promote those products.

If you like to write you can also write for online writing platforms such as Hubpages, and Squidoo, and make money with Google Adsense, Kontera, Ebay, and Amazon.

There are many affiliate networks, or ad networks which you can sign up with, where you can get paid every time someone clicks.

You can write e-books and sell them, thus building a residual income. A residual income is basically an income where you do the work once, and it will continue to pay you until you pass on.

The possibilities are endless!

Make a Living Doing What You Love

John Chow is a famous blogger. This is how he makes his living. When he started out he wasn't in it for the money at all. He just wanted to keep an online journal where he could talk about whatever.

Today he's making a living doing what he loves to do...and a fine living I might add. Personally I think it should be everyones goal to make a living doing what we love.

Now some may ask if we all did what we loved would the world still go around? I say "Of course it would!" There are millions of different people all over the world and they all have different interests. I have a friend who loves working in a factory and she will never quit till the day she retires. I've said many times to her, "There has to be something that you'd rather be doing." And she simply says she can't think of anything else.

Another friend loves to clean and cleans for other people...think about it...she loves to scrub toilets for other people! YUCK!!!! Okay maybe she doesn't care for the toilets, but she's a very social person and this gives her a flexible schedule to come and go as she pleases, and she loves it.

Still other people I know love construction. I know one guy who loves the thrill of working on trusses...it's a dangerous job but he loves it.

So how do you go about making a living doing what you love? It may be easier said than done, but just do it. The internet has made a way for anyone in any niche to make a living online. Honest, it doesn't matter what it is you love to do, there is a market for it online.

If you like construction...start a blog and start writing about it. Share with people what it's like from day to day in the construction world. Then learn to monetize your site with relevant affiliate links or ads. This method can work in any niche that you have an interest in.

Obviously it won't happen overnight, but if you work hard and stick it out it will work. I'm still fairly new to the internet but I got my first paycheck from google about a month ago. I'm still not making my living doing what I love, but I'm well on my way. I encourage you to do the same.

John Chow has a lot of valuable information on his site on how to make money online. He's giving away a free e-book in which he shares his techniques on how he makes money online. I would encourage you to check it out. His site is at: http://www.johnchow.com. This is not an affiliate link, I have nothing gain whether anyone visits his site or gets his book. But because there is so much valuable information I want to let others know about it so they too can get their hands on it.

Enjoy the blog.
